Throughout the week, the east coast had a few wave swells that were larger more than usual. That was because Tropical Storm Odette, now a Post-Tropical Cyclone, made its way up the east coast only to veer off to the east.
This storm quickly moved along the coast providing some watches for some higher wave impacts, but luckily it was nothing of great concern.
The National Hurricane Center watched this storm very closely over the past several days, but the outlook for the storm strengthening became very unlikely as time moved on.
Odette will continue to swirl in the Atlantic before it will most likely dissipate over the next 72 hours.
