Mrs. Faye Greer of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, she was 92 years old.
Preceded in death by husband, Cecil J. Greer who died in 1991.
Survived by son, Jim (Lisa) Greer; grandchildren, Jennifer (Matt) Gilley, Julie Greer and Cody (Brianna) Clark; great-grandchildren, Owen Gilley, Avery Gilley, Tristan Bush, Parker Clark, R. J. Morgan, Aiden Clark and Jayden Clark; and brother, Kenneth (Brenda) Gibbs.
Faye was born and raised in Spruce Pine, NC. She received her Associate Degree in Business. She was the administrative assistant for the Spruce Pine School System in North Carolina. About 18 years ago, she moved to Nashville to be with her family. One of her favorite flowers was an orchid. You could always find her reading a good book.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 17, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment Carroway Cemetery, Burnsville, NC. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro in honor of Faye Greer.
