William “Bill” Jones, age 63 of Nashville, TN passed away on December 9, 2021.
Preceded in death by his parents, Minnie and William Jones; and sister, Nita Jones.
Bill was a loving husband, father, and uncle and he had a servant’s heart. He worked as a paramedic for Metro for 27 years and he was involved in the community with the Boy Scouts and also as a substitute teacher. He loved working with kids and impacting the next generation. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survived by his wife of 31 years, Tracy Jones; daughter, Emily Jones; son, Matt Jones (Abby Henry); nephew, Tarrick Pillow; nieces, Christine Candilora and Allison Candilora and extended family.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 17, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road by Aaron Davis. Interment Triune Cemetery, Arrington, TN. Pallbearers: Matt Jones, David Majors, Marcus Bagwell, Rick Wilson, Scott Arms, and Nick Wood. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Visitation will be Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 4-7 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 615-331-1952.
