* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE…A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following counties, Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, Davidson, De Kalb, Dickson, Fentress, Giles, Hickman, Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Macon, Marshall, Maury, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Rutherford, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, Wayne, White, Williamson and Wilson.

* WHEN…From 6 PM CDT this evening through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Moderate Flood Watch is in effect from 11:00 PM today until 12:00 PM tomorrow for parts of Middle Tennessee, including Davidson County.

Current conditions in Davidson County at 7:00 PM report a temperature of 86.7°F with a light wind of 5.5 mph. The sky is overcast, and there has been no precipitation recorded this evening.

Earlier today, the high reached 95.9°F, with a low of 78.3°F. Wind gusts peaked at 11.4 mph. The chance of precipitation today was 52%, with a total of 0.57 in of rain expected throughout the day due to violent rain showers.

Tonight, temperatures will drop to a low of 78.3°F, with wind speeds increasing up to 10.3 mph. The chance of precipitation remains at 52%, as overcast conditions persist.
