A Severe Extreme Cold Warning is in effect for a portion of Middle Tennessee including Davidson County until noon CST today. Current conditions this early morning in Davidson County record a temperature of 4.8°F under a clear sky, with a light wind of 3.5 mph and no precipitation noted.

Today, the high is expected to reach 31.1°F after a frigid morning low of 4.6°F. Winds could increase to up to 13 mph. The sky will turn overcast later in the day, with a negligible precipitation chance of 1%. Tonight, temperatures will be slightly milder with a low of 20.8°F. Winds will decrease to a maximum of 6.5 mph, and conditions will remain overcast with a continued low precipitation chance.
