Two 18-year-olds are in custody following a shooting on Buchanan Street where multiple rounds were fired towards officers on April 20, 2023.
North Precinct patrol officers were responding to a suspicious persons call when the shots were fired in their direction from between two buildings.
Daniel Prisco and Jason Valentine were located a short time after fleeing the scene of the shooting.
The two officers on scene were not injured nor were any patrol vehicles damaged as a result of the gunfire.
Both Prisco and Valentine have been charged with two counts of aggravated assault on an officer and evading arrest.
