One Generation Away’s mobile food pantry will make its way to the Maplewood High School parking lot, bringing fresh produce, pantry staples, dairy, and more to anyone in need on Saturday, February 17.

“Many of our neighbors are in a tough season right now with rising gas prices, grocery prices, rent prices,” said Chris Whitney, founder and CEO of OneGenAway. “We hope receiving a load of fresh, high-quality groceries will help relieve some of the burden of rising costs and bring hope to our community.”

OneGenAway operates its mobile food pantry throughout Middle Tennessee, at a different location each Saturday. No registration or paperwork is required to receive food, but they do recommend arriving early, as it is first come, first served.

The pantry will take place in the Maplewood High School parking lot at 401 Walton Lane in Nashville from 8:30a-10:00 a.m., or until the food runs out. Volunteers should arrive at 7:30 a.m. — no registration necessary.
