Waymon Carrol Smith, age 85, of Joelton, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Ahava Healthcare of Clarksville.
Mr. Smith was born on July 3, 1938, in Henderson, Tennessee, to the late Barney & Ruby Bain Smith.
He was a retired meat inspector for the USDA. He was also a butcher and vegetable gardener.
He is survived by his son, Forrest Smith; and his daughter, Sonia Smith (Terry) Carter.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 9th, with Pastor Dylan Proctor officiating.
A private burial will be in the Henderson City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 9th, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM.
