Joyce Jean Fisher, aged 88, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2024 at Alive Hospice of Nashville.
She was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee on December 16, 1935.
Mrs. Fisher moved to Nashville in her young adulthood where she met and married her husband Thomas, a Metro Nashville Police Officer.
Mrs. Fisher was a full-time homemaker and raised two children, Amy (estranged) and Tommy. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and precious time with family. Mrs. Fisher was a volunteer to many organizations and was known to help anyone who needed an extra hand. She was affectionately known as Mama Joy to her family.
Mrs. Fisher is pre-deceased by her husband Thomas.
She is survived by her son Tommy (Katy); and her grandchildren, Benjamin Allen, Kat Carle (Chris), Kara Peters, Jaylyne Easton (Greg), Jennah Fisher and great-grandchildren, Maddison Lynn and Mary Katherine Carle.
The funeral will take place at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park on April 9, 2024 at 11:30 am. Visitation with family will be one hour prior. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/nashville-tn
