Thomas “Tommy” Edgar Forsythe, a husband, father, grandfather, and lifelong friend, passed away peacefully at his home on November 4, 2024, at the age of 65.
Tommy was born on June 5, 1959, in Nashville, Tennessee to Rollie and Blanche Forsythe.
As a young man Tommy was known for having a wild spirit and enjoyed being the center of attention. With a personality larger than life, his easily recognized and booming voice was often the loudest in the room. His sense of humor was truly unmatched and Tommy always brought laughter to those around him. He had a lifelong love of games and was often found enjoying a round of disc golf or playing darts with his friends and family.
Tommy spent his career as a skilled brick mason. Finding pride in his work, he was happy to teach others his craft and often joked that his job allowed him to “play with mud and blocks” while earning a living.
Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Rollie Clifford and Lena Blanche Forsythe, and his brother, George Fagan.
Tommy leaves behind his wife and the love of his life, Regina Forsythe, with whom he shared 37 years together. He is also survived by his children, Thomas (Carli) Forsythe II and Kimberly (Jeremiah) Hesselbacher, and his grandchildren, Adam, Ben, and Shiloh Hesselbacher. He is further survived by his siblings, Judy Hammock, Mike Forsythe, Don Forsythe, Janis Webb, Mark Forsythe, along with countless family and friends who will miss him dearly.
