John Charles “Chuck” Aring, age 65, was born in Jacksonville, IL, and lived in Old Hickory, TN. He passed away on September 19, 2021.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. He was the best Master Jeweler in Nashville. Hobbies included Golf, photography, classic cars, Harley’s, and his family.
He worked at Diamond Outlet for 25 years only missing 2 days before getting sick. He was known for creating many unique and custom pieces of jewelry for them and for personal customers.
He developed deep friendships, some for over 40 years, and some that began as clients. He was a kind, honest, and soft-spoken man. He will be sorely missed by all.
He was proceeded in death by his father Wayne Aring. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Rhonda Manning Aring; Mother, Martha Aring; Daughter, Amanda (Michael) DiCapo; Son, Sean Aring; grandkids, Gage & Cortlin DiCapo, Jolene & Flynn Aring; brothers, Eddie (Colleen) Aring, Richard (Linda) Aring, and Ronnie (Lisa) Aring; sisters, Karen (Alan) Pfingster and Mary (Jim) Jones; employers and friends, Bob, Fay, and Helen Forster; dear friend, Beth Patty; several loving nieces & nephews & his fur baby, Hot Shot.
Visitation is Thursday, 9/23, 4:00 pm-8:00 pm & Friday, 9/24, 12:00 pm-2:00 pm with the memorial service at 2:00 pm Friday, at Phillips-Robinson Hadley Chapel, 1700 Hadley Ave., in Old Hickory.
