Joanne Sheridan Tate, age 82, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.
Joanne was born December 12, 1938 in Autauga County, Alabama to the late Joe Sheridan. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband of over sixty years, Charles Tate.
Joanne is survived by her children, Julie Tate of Nashville and Scott “Tater” Tate of Nashville; grandson, Thomas Tate of Nashville and brother, Marvin Sheridan, Mulberry, FL. Joanne was a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church in Nashville. She loved bowling, was a die-hard University of Alabama Football fan, animals, cooking enjoyed her time at home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at twelve noon on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 5112 Raywood Ln, Nashville, TN 37211. Rev. David Ssebulime will officiant the service. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held from ten-thirty in the morning until time of services at twelve noon on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 5112 Raywood Ln, Nashville, TN 37211.
