Jerry Dean Ray, age 78 of the Willette Community in Macon County, TN passed away early Sunday morning, April 26, 2026 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Jerry is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.
Funeral Services for Jerry Dean Ray will be conducted Thursday afternoon, April 30, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Elder Junior Dickerson & Elder David Norris officiating. Interment will follow in the Jenkins Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.
Family requests memorials be made to the Willette Fire Department or Jenkins Cemetery. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.
He is preceded in death by parents, Dean & Ella Gertrude (Kelly) Ray; brother, Randy Ray; grandson, Ethan Russell.
Survivors include: wife, Barbara Ray of the Willette Community; daughters, Tammy Russell & husband Ryan of the Walnut Shade Community, Crystal Arnold of Lafayette; step-son, Lundy Russell of the Kirbytown Community; Grandchildren, Trevor Russell & wife Lindsay, Logan Malotte, Cassie Cornwell & husband Josh, Kelly Russell; great-grandchildren Bella & Haidyn Russell; sisters, Carolyn Halliburton & husband Bobby, Diane Daughterty of Lafayette; brother, Terry Ray of the Willette Community.
