Edward Steve Russell was born December 20, 1946, and passed away April 24, 2026.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Catherine Russell as well as his brother Lewis Russell.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Lamanda Russell and three daughters, Tammy (Johnny) Johnston of Rockvale, Shannon (David) Pew of Rockvale, and Carrie (John) Chuba of Murfreesboro. Steve is survived by five grandchildren, Rickey Brooksher, Rachel (Chance) Mysayphonn, Jessica (Alex) Scofield, John (Ashely) Pew and Aulton Davis. He has three great grandchildren Easton and Cody Pew and Mia Mysayphonn. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Linda (Billy) Slaughter, William (Brenda) Russell, Charles (Cathy) Russell, Faye Scales, Jerry Russell, Kathy Russell, and Bonnie (Tim) Beard, plus many brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.
He worked most of his life as a welder and for the Williamson County Government. Steve loved working on his 65 acre farm that he and Lamanda own. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
