Imogene Jones Bozeman, age 95, of Nashville and Murfreesboro passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026. She was born December 8, 1930, in Centerville, Tennessee to the late Grady A. and Willie Matt Jones. Imogene was a lifelong faithful Christian, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved life and especially spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by husband, James Hamer Bozeman; son, John Bozeman; parents, Grady A., Sr. and Willie Matt Jones; brothers, Edward Jones, Grady A. Jones, Jr.; and sisters, Lorraine Loveless, Jane Allman, and Martha Pearl Devore.
Survived by son, Alan (Raven) Bozeman; grandchildren, Lee Bozeman, Brack and Brittany Bozeman.
Imogene was a member of Crieve Hall Church of Christ; and after moving to Murfreesboro, she worshiped at Salem Creek Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be conducted by Wendell Byrd on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (visitation from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m.) at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
