Darryle Wendell Holmes was born in Nashville, Tennessee on September 17th, 1960 to the union of Virginia Mae Daniel Holmes and William Anderson Holmes. He departed this earthly life on Thursday, February 23, 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Darryle was educated in Davidson County Nashville Public School System, graduating from Hillsboro High School class of 1981. He continued his education by attending Nashville State Tech, obtaining a Certificate in Graphic Arts in 1983.
Darryle was employed with a variety of different businesses within the Nashville area, including Vanderbilt University Building Services. His passions were art and music. He loved to draw, and he was a wonderful Artist.
He leaves to cherish his memories are his mother, Virginia Holmes, brothers, Mark Holmes (Yolanda Sloss), Steve (Dawn) Holmes, sister, Sandra Holmes, nieces, Jacqueline (Rodrikus) Springfield, Lauren Holmes, nephew, Keith Holmes, Teresa Holmes, Larrisa Marsh and a host of loving cousins, other relatives, and cherished friends.
