OBITUARY: Dannie ‘Tessie’ Lovina Venable

Dannie “Tessie” Lovina Venable, age 87 of Hermitage, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

Tessie loved to cook and operated a catering business. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Venable; parents, William and Sarah Robinson; sister, Pauline See.

Survived by her children, Steve Venable (Joanne), Cricket Venable, and Anthony See Venable (Linda); grandchildren, Greg Venable (Tessa), Grace James (Steven), Anthony Venable, and Amber O’Neal (Bobby); great-grandchildren, Caleb, Claira, Evelyn, Kennedy, Jacob, Seth, Layla, and Skylar; niece, Sue Meyer.

Visitation will be at Phillips-Robinson Hadley Chapel Saturday, July 1st, from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. Graveside services will follow at 2 pm at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers.
