Brenda Gail Moseley, age 74 of Nashville, TN, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024.
She was born on September 21, 1949, to Herschel JB Fish and Maxine Fish Measles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Bobby Measles; and son-in-law, Wayne Wilhoite.
Gail is survived by husband of 56 years, Dewey G. Moseley Sr.; children, Debra “Michelle” Wilhoite, Dewey G Moseley Jr., Michael W. Moseley (Ellen); sisters, Glenda “Diane” Allen, Gwendolyn Elaine Brock (Danny) and Kimberly Jean Measles; grandchildren, Tyler Moseley and Ashley Beasley (JP); great-grandchildren, John Marshall Beasley, Christopher Garland Beasley, Landon Michael Carson Moseley, Ayden Blake Moseley and bonus great-granddaughter, Brooklynn Desiray Taylor; niece, Amy Humphrey; nephews, Randall Allen, Rusty Measles, Brian Brock and David Brock.
Gail spent her life being a wife, mother and granny. She enjoyed life to its fullest, she enjoyed cooking her famous Chocolate pies, Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners, attending concerts, shopping and spending time with her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed watching sports, was a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Gail shared her passions with many people in her life especially John Marshall, who could often be found by her side chopping vegetables or rolling out cookie dough. She certainly had a way of making sure you knew exactly what she stood for and wasn’t afraid of standing up for her family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted by John Kieffer on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery in the Field of Honor. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. for family and we will receive friends from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 615-331-1952. https://www.woodbinefuneralhome.com
