(May 12, 2022) Homicide Unit detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found by Nashville firefighters Thursday at 2:30 a.m. inside his burning residence in the 800 block of West Sharpe Avenue.
Evidence shows that the victim, tentatively identified as a 40-year-old man, was shot in the head prior to someone apparently setting the residence on fire. The Medical Examiner will work to confirm his identity.
