(May 13, 2022) – Violent Crimes Division detectives are working to identify the man who on Tuesday at 11 a.m. robbed the Mapco at 2101 Murfreesboro Pike.
After asking the clerk for cigarettes, he came around the counter armed with a handgun. He took $40 cash from the register and packages of Newport cigarettes. He is a black man with a mustache and short hair who appears to be in his late 20s or early 30s. He is approximately 5’8” tall.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect from the attached surveillance photos is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
