November 27, 2024 – On November 20, 2024, the Hendersonville Police Department received a report of a subject that had followed someone from work to the area of Southburn Drive. A deputy with the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop the individual who then fled in his vehicle. Hendersonville Officers responded and apprehended the subject following a short foot chase.
Investigation into the incident revealed that the subject, Justin Taylor (36), had been responsible for another incident that occurred on November 13th in Hendersonville where Taylor had groped the buttocks of a woman without her permission. It was also learned that Taylor committed similar acts in Nashville at his former employment on the same date and in Wilson County on a previous date. Taylor had been charged for those incidents.
Hendersonville Officers took Taylor into custody for Reckless Endangerment, Evading Arrest, and Sexual Battery. Taylor is pending court in Sumner County General Sessions.
