A former Whites Creek High School teacher has been indicted following allegations of a sexual relationship with a student.
Metro Nashville Police said 32-year-old Kadija Kuykendall was arrested after a grand jury returned an 18-count indictment. She is charged with multiple counts of aggravated statutory rape, sexual contact by an authority figure, and sexual battery by an authority figure.
Investigators said the 10-month investigation began after Kuykendall disclosed details of the relationship to a colleague. She was fired from Whites Creek High School in August 2025.
Kuykendall is being held in the Davidson County jail on a $150,000 bond.
