Metropolitan Nashville Police Department has announced that police horse, Boo, has retired.
Boo was a 15-year-old horse that served with the Metro Nashville Police Horse Mounted Patrol unit for 10 years.
“He’s always been a solid partner on the streets and a hilarious trouble maker around the barn. He will get to spend his retirement living the easy life of just being a horse. Happy retirement, Boo!” Metro police said on their Facebook page.
Police also added that Boo was always a favorite of almost everyone who came across him throughout his career.
