February 26, 2025 – Tips from the public resulted in the identification of two bank robbery suspects, Jaylan Smith, 18, and Andrew Holsapple, 19, who are accused of the January 29 hold up at the Fifth Third Bank, 5550 Old Hickory Boulevard, just before noon. One of the men passed a note to the teller demanding money while the other waited by the door.
Smith was taken into custody yesterday. He is charged with robbery and is being held in lieu of $75,000 bond. A warrant has been issued charging Holsapple with robbery. Efforts are underway to locate him.
