February 26, 2025 – Three men have been charged in Monday morning’s murder of Ahmed Amran, 22, who was shot and killed as he drove away from a hookah bar at 2521 Nolensville Pike. Two of his three male passengers were wounded.

Sadiq Al-Sahaf, 23, Mohammad Al Rabiey, 22, and Abanoub Awed, 21, are being held without bond on charges of criminal homicide and three counts of attempted criminal homicide. Al-Sahaf was taken into custody outside his residence on Thompson Place. Al Rabiey was arrested during a traffic stop just after leaving a home on Mossdale Drive. Awed was arrested Monday on Nolensville Pike.

The investigation shows that the Honda Accord in which the victims were riding was specifically targeted by gunfire. Work on this case is continuing.

At the time of last night’s arrests, Al-Sahaf was on federal pretrial release in regard to a drug conspiracy case. Al Rabiey was free on $15,000 bond stemming from his arrest last July on a grand jury indictment charging him with two counts of felony auto burglary and two counts of misdemeanor vandalism.
