Woman Killed in Saturday Two-Vehicle Collision on I-65 South Identified

The driver of a 2016 Kia Soul traveling the wrong way in the southbound lanes of I-65 at 2:30 a.m. Saturday died after colliding with the driver of a tractor-trailer near Rosa L. Parks Boulevard.

The wrong-way driver, Nakesha Williams, 30, collided with the driver of the southbound semi, Latoya Blair, 38, of Clarksville. Williams, of Nashville, died at the scene. Blair was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Toxicology testing will be conducted on Williams to determine whether impairment was a factor in this fatal crash.
