June 11, 2025 – A male pedestrian has died following Tuesday’s 9:30 p.m. crash on Murfreesboro Pike near Edge O Lake Drive. The preliminary investigation indicates a Dodge Caravan was traveling southbound when it struck the man, who was walking in a lane of traffic.
The driver of the Dodge remained at the scene.
The 44-year-old man was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died. Efforts are underway to notify his family.
There were no signs of impairment at the scene.
