Bill Boswell was a dedicated father to Damon and Tara, a supportive father-in-law to Ryne and Amy, an enthusiastic grandfather to Aidan and Mason, a beloved son of Carolyn and Jimmy, a loving brother to Donna and Lee Ann, a dear friend to so many, published author and educator. He was a Past Master and current Secretary of John B. Garrett Lodge #711 F&AM.
Bill left this earth on Sunday, November 28, 2021, and is now in peace with his family and friends who have passed.
Bill had an adventurous free spirit, loved to travel, and was a passionate musician. He was selfless, showing incredible compassion for others and doing everything for his family. Bill was a serious businessman when needed but had a lighthearted sense of humor and outgoing personality.
He grew up in College Station, TX, pursued his education at North Texas State University, and made a career touring with bands like Genesis, Pink Floyd, and Diamond Rio, lighting stages around the world. He made his home in Nashville, TN, raised his family, and became a fun-loving grandfather.
We know Bill is jamming out in Heaven with his best friends. His memory and his love will live on in our hearts.
We welcome friends and family to celebrate Bill’s life and legacy at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Visitation begins at 3 p.m. with service following at 4 p.m. Masonic Memorial services will follow.
