William Phillip Pigue, age 67, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on February 23, 2025.

He was born on June 1, 1957, in Madison, Tennessee, but raised in Franklin, Tennessee, to the late Thomas Pigue and Mary Ellen Powers.

Phil was a passionate sports fan, with a particular love for the Atlanta Braves and the Vanderbilt Commodores. His deep connection to horses began at a young age, as he assisted his father in training American Saddlebred horses. As he grew older, he enjoyed showing Western Pleasure horses. In later years, Phil found great joy in watching his daughter and son-in-law compete in local team roping events. He also treasured spending time with his two grandchildren, especially watching his grandson compete in Junior Rodeos and play t-ball.

Phil’s warm heart made it to where he never met a stranger, and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his two brothers, Glen (Jennifer) Pigue and David Pigue; his daughters, Casey (Zac) Paris and Taylor Briggs; and his two beloved grandchildren, Luke and Layton Paris.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Pigue; his mother, Mary Ellen Powers; and his stepfather, Jerry Powers.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home, located at 660 Thompson Lane in Nashville, Tennessee. Burial will follow the service. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/nashville-tn
