William “Bobby” Robert Maupin, age 78, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sunday, February 26, 2023.
He was born in Cheatham County, Tennessee, on March 31, 1944, to Haska Lee Maupin and Mary Frances (Collins) Maupin.
Bobby served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked for Ford Glass in Managerial Robotics.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Haska Lee and Mary Maupin; and brothers, Ronnie Maupin and J.W. Maupin.
Bobby is survived by his son, Lonnie Fairchild (Heather); granddaughter, Olivia Fairchild; and grandson, Lonnie “Kevin” Fairchild, II.
He will be laid to rest Friday, March 10, 2023, at 2:30 pm at EverRest of Cheatham LLC in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be Friday, March 10, 2023, from 12 noon to 2 pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lonnie Fairchild, Kevin Fairchild, Brad Kamer, MacArthur King, Frankie Krantz, and Mike Mooneyhan. Honorary pallbearers will be Olivia Fairchild, Todd Jester, Hobart Suggs, Charles Derflinger, Kenny Kamer, Mark Kamer, and Howard Cole.
