Wilbur E. “Bill” Donald Jr., age 72, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026.

Born on December 27, 1954, in Nashville, Tennessee, Bill was a lifelong resident who dedicated much of his life to construction, helping build and contribute to numerous projects throughout the Nashville area. He was known as a hardworking man whose strong work ethic and quiet dedication left a lasting mark on both his profession and those who knew him.

Above all, Bill was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished family man. He treasured the time he spent with his family and found great joy in watching his children and grandchildren grow. His love, guidance, and steady presence will be deeply missed by everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Bill also enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and had a passion for playing the guitar. He especially loved listening to gospel music, which reflected the faith and peace that remained close to his heart throughout his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lana Dawn Donald; his children, Gregory Donald (Sunny), Wilbur E. Donald III (Rachel), Lana Donald (Cody), and Rebecca Anne Donald (Omar); his brothers, Dewayne Donald, Wendell Donald (Rita), and Terrence Donald (Chris); his sister, Pamela Donald; his grandchildren, Landon, Lauren, Kyle, Anna, Jason, Gracey, Ethan, Christian, Courtney, Harley, Hailey, Hannah, Savannah, Haeven, and Urijah; along with many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were blessed by knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur E. Donald Sr.; his mother, Dorothy Donald; his brothers, Charles Donald and Timothy Donald; and his mother-in-law, Hazel Fralick.

Bill will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering love for his family, his dedication to his work, and the simple joys that brought him happiness. His legacy of love, strength, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
