Welbon Rye Trotter, age 84 of Goodlettsville, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021.
He was born in Clarksville, TN on June 24, 1937 to the late Walter Trotter and Nellie Pearl Suiter.
He was also preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Beverly Draper Williamson Trotter; sister, Marjorie Green; brother, Billy Trotter.
He is survived by his son Rick (Linda) Trotter of Nebraska; three grandsons, Wayne Trotter, Artie Trotter, and Ben Trotter; eight-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister Sue Trotter Slate, Clarksville, TN, and brothers Don Trotter, Tampa, FL, and Phill Trotter, Russell Springs, KY.
Welbon was a charter member of Goodlettsville Southern Methodist Church. He spent his life in banking and retired from First American Bank.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
