Margaret Ann Watson, age 77, of Goodlettsville, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021.
Preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Margaret Lucille Upchurch, son, Donnie Decker, and sister, Dorothy Upchurch.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 16 years, Charles A. Watson, daughter, Dawn Blagburn (Chris), son, Michael Keathley (Brandi), brother, James Upchurch (Jennifer), cousins, Tom and Willie Upchurch, grandchildren; Christopher Decker, Heather Gillespie (Brian), Richard Fields (Anastacia), Tionna Decker, Amber Duncan, Elaina, Katelyn, Andrew, Trenton, Connor, Aidan, and Levi Keathley. Margaret is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, her cat “Cody”, along with many extended family and friends.
Margaret Ann Watson was born on May 25, 1944 in Murfreesboro, TN to the late Curtis and Margaret Lucille Upchurch. She was known as “my little Mama” to her family and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver. She loved Ray Stevens, Elvis Presley, peaches, animals, and collecting owls, angels, and snowmen. She also loved her walking horse and watching ballroom dancing. Margaret had a loving heart but was known for being a straight talker and giving the best advice to friends and family. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
A Celebration of Life service for Margaret will be held in the Chapel at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street in Hendersonville on Wednesday, August 11th at 1:00 PM. Gathering for family and friends will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
