Mrs. Wanda Mae Seagraff of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, she was 85 years old. Wanda was born July 15, 1936.

Our Lord and Savior has taken our sweet mama and friend to her home above. She was the most caring, compassionate, and positive person one could ever know. Her love was infectious and her voice as sweet as a songbird. Her love for the Lord and her children was immense. She would walk into a room and her smile was like a bright ray of sunshine.

Ease your grief, she is not gone, for in your heart she lingers on. Her smile, her laugh, her special way, will comfort you from day to day.

You’ll feel her presence in the breeze that dances gently through the trees, and it’s her face that you will see when you’re in need of company.

At any time, you can recall, the love you shared, you saved it all, And in time, more than anything, you’ll find peace in remembering.

Here are some words from her heart that she had written down for us regarding her greatest accomplishment in life;

“I love and raised six beautiful children of which I’m very proud. I consider this my greatest and best accomplishment of my life. It has been a great reign and I wouldn’t have changed a thing except for the deaths of my three cherished sons’ Christopher, David, and Robbie. Thank you Lord for a wonderful life, especially since 1995, when I married Charles Seagraff with whom I’ve had a wonderful and happy life. I am with them now. I will continue to be Greg, Shelia, and Shannon’s guardian angels to walk through the rest of their life. Until we meet again, my sweets.”

Proverbs 31:25-29 reads – She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness. Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her: “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!”

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Frances McCormick; her husband; Charles V. Seagraff and her sons, Christopher Gates, David Gates, and Robin Gates
