On the night of October 3, 2024, Vickie Marie Miller was called home to be with her heavenly Father.
At an early age, she lived her life serving God through belief and faith. She studied at the University of Memphis to become a Registered Nurse. She was employed by Bell-South of Memphis and later transferred to Nashville, TN. which became her home.
She was the first born of the late Mrs. Pauline Caples Beasley and the late Mr. Willie James Rogers on March 17, 1956.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Maurice Miller, brother-in-law, Stacy Wilson, Sr., and son, Marques Miller.
She leaves behind her two sisters, Pamela Wilson of Atlanta, Ga., and Marilyn Robinson and her only brother, Leroy Ross, Jr., both of Memphis, son, Daryl Caples, Memphis, TN. and daughter, Alisha Miller, (Freddie B. Carpenter, Jr.), 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, a host of cousins other relatives and friends.
