Through his compassion and wit, he became a friend and mentor to many people throughout his life. He enjoyed reading, traveling, and lively get-togethers with his friends and family.
He loved to learn and was passionate about mentoring the next generation of young lawyers. He saw the best in everyone, never cast judgement, and took true joy in the success of others. He had a stoic yet soft demeanor which allowed others to lean on him, his intimate family most of all. He and his wife adored each other and were best friends in marriage for nearly 35 years. He was a devoted father, taking interest and supporting anything his children wanted to try. He regarded his children as his greatest accomplishment.
