Thomas Edward Sirmeyer “Tom” went to be with his precious Lord on Saturday, January 22, 2022.

He was born August 29, 1941, in West Branch, Michigan, and moved shortly thereafter to the picturesque town of Clear Lake, Michigan.

Tom had a lifelong passion for cars that was ignited as he drove in local stock car races during his formative years. It was this passion for cars that eventually led Tom into car sales, first in Michigan then in Tennessee. He would retire from Andrews Cadillac in Brentwood, Tennessee as a top salesman, a national award winner, and having earned Cadillac’s highest sales honor, the Gold Crest Club.

Tom’s professional career flourished but his greatest blessings came in the form of family and the acquaintances that he made along the way. Tom’s outgoing and friendly personality, along with his constant and unforgettable smile, made him an instant friend to everyone he met. He was a member of Judson Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee for many years, He could often be found enjoying his Sunday afternoons cheering on his favorite team, the Tennessee Titans.

Tom leaves behind his beloved family including wife Anne, and children Ed Sirmeyer, Gregory (Elizabeth) Sirmeyer, Michael (Billie) Sirmeyer, and Tamie Fox. His family legacy also includes seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by parents Edward and Marie Sirmeyer, and by dear brother Richard Sirmeyer. He also leaves behind two nieces and five great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 28, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road, by Kirk Kirkland. Interment Nolensville Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 12-2 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 615-331-1952.
