Sonny Otho Lee Armstrong, age 67 of Joelton, TN, passed away on April 6th, 2025.
He was preceded in death by mother, Jeune Berkley Cline; father, Donald Elmer Armstrong; and aunt, Juanita Armstrong.
Sonny is survived by sister, Donna A. (David) Weldon; children, Jason Armstrong; Carrie (Mark) Poole; and Michelle Clark; chosen life companion, Melanie Kay; grandchildren, Nathan Clark; Charley Ayers; Ben Anderson; Samantha Poole; Terry Poole; and Ziporah-Lynn Armstrong.
Sonny’s brilliance was proven through his biology and chemistry sciences knowledge. He taught the 5th grade ‘Jesus Was A Carpenter’ Sunday school group at Woodmont Hills Church, and was a proud Air Force veteran. The last year he spent as a devoted best friend to his beloved Airedale Terrier, Valor.
Visitation with the family will be held at Forest Grove United Methodist Church on Friday, April 25th from 10 AM until the hour of Memorial Service at 12 PM with Dr. Rev. Hubert Cunningham officiating. https://www.andersonandgarrett.com
