Shirley A. Bate, age 87, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024.
Shirley was born to Edward and Lena Dodd on April 3, 1936, in McEwen, Tennessee.
Shirley managed Apartments Communities for the majority of her work life until she found her work family at Reliable Roofing as the bookkeeper. She enjoyed shopping anytime, anywhere, having lunch with her friends, and making her yearly trips to Daytona Beach. She was a member of the board of the Greater Nashville Apartment Association.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lena Dodd, along with her brother, Jim Dodd.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, March 11, 2024, at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, Tennessee, 37204. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/nashville-tn
