Milton E. Newcomb, age 86 of Antioch, Tennessee passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024.
Preceded in death by parents, Charley and Dewey Newcomb. Milton was the 10th of 13 children.
He retired from Ford Glass Plant after 25 years’ service. Milton was a race car driver and a huge NASCAR fan. You could always find him on Saturday night at the Nashville Fairground Speedway. He was a good Samaritan mechanic always helping people.
Survived by his wife of 60 years, Marjorie Pewitt Newcomb; sons, Michael Newcomb and Marty (Devi) Newcomb; grandson, Jarrett Newcomb; and sister, Robbie Skinner.
Funeral services will be conducted by Patrick Hamilton on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment with Military Honors at Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Newcomb, Marty Newcomb, Jarrett Newcomb, Bennie Hamlett, Peyton Hamlett and Mark Day.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 17, 2024, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 615-331-1952. https://www.woodbinefuneralhome.com
