Sandra A. Ross passed away alongside her Husband and Children on September 1, 2021, in Nashville, TN, at the age of 56.
Sandra (Hollis) was born August 11, 1965, in Walls, MS. to the late Modie C. Hollis and William Henry House Sr. She was the youngest of 5 children, Cathy Buckley, Mildred Jackson (Stanley), Johnathan Hollis. Sr (Regina). And Augusta Todd, who preceded her in death.
Sandra, AKA “San,” was “Ms. Personality” she loved cooking, traveling, crafting, partying, and spending time with her family. She graduated from Hillcrest High School, Memphis, TN. Shortly thereafter, she embarked on a big part of her life, cooking professionally after completing culinary trade at Memphis Voc 1984-1985. Here is where she meets her first Husband, Otis Cannon, in 1984 and married in 1988, and has 2 children: O’Bryant and Tevin. She would later marry her soulmate and current Husband, Earnest E. Ross, in 2001. Together through their union, they would professionally enjoy working jobs together and catering to big events. After her working years, she devoted the rest of her life to being the best wife, mom, and human being she could be, getting baptized, and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. There was not a place she would not go and leave her mark. Some may call her “crazy,” some may call her “friendly” but she was always all the above: just herself, San.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Husband, Earnest Ross, two sons; stepdaughter O’Bryant Cannon (Tatiana), Tevin Cannon; Sharonda Mclain, Grandchildren, Kadynce Cannon, Zo Cannon, her sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 4:00– 8:00 pm at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 1150 Dickerson Rd, Goodlettsville, TN 37072, with A celebration of life service Funeral Saturday, September 11th, 2021, at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Goodlettsville.
Serving as pallbearers will be O’Bryant Cannon, Tevin Cannon, Andre Buckley, Michael Buckley, Johnathan Hollis. Jr, Michael Mcneil, Brandon Rudd, Jeffrey Jackson.
