Ruthe “Donnie” Creighton Norman, age 87, passed away August 24, 2021 of breakthrough Covid 19.
She was born July 30, 1934 and was married to the Honorable Judge Seth Norman for 13 years.
Donnie was cherished by the members of Seth’s family who were grateful to her for the joy she brought to Seth’s life.
Preceded in death by her parents, Ruthe D. and Samuel W. Berger, Jr.; son, Wilbur Foster Creighton, IV; daughter, Ruthe Creighton Scruggs; sister, Mary Knox Pilkerton.
She is survived by her husband, the Honorable Judge Seth Norman; son, Dudley Creighton; grandsons, Dudley, Houston, and Hampton Creighton; sisters, Shirley Berger Lechleiter and Elinor Berger Peek.
She attended Woodmont School, Ward Belmont Preparatory School, The Harpeth Hall School, and Vanderbilt University. She was in the first graduating class of The Harpeth Hall School and was the First Lady of the Hall. Donnie’s career in residential real estate spanned 40 years with Dobson & Johnson and Zeitlin-Sotheby’s International Realty. She was known for being the nicest, most giving person in real estate. The love and care she had for her clients and fellow Realtors will be her legacy.
Visitation will be held at Woodmont Christian Church, 3601 Hillsboro Pk. Nashville, TN 37215, Monday, Aug. 30th from 11:30 am until the time of service at 1 pm.
