Rebecca Ruth Durham Goodwin, 86, of Hermitage, TN, was born in Nashville, TN, on March 15, 1938, and passed away on May 27, 2024.
She was a member of Eastland Baptist Church since 1954 where she was a departmental secretary for several departments for 40 years and was in the choir. After her children were in school, she worked for MNPS in the cafeteria for 10 years, and then for John Harland Check printers as a machine operator for 18 years.
She is preceded in death by her father, Gordon M Durham; mother, Nellie L Baggett Durham; sister, June Durham Vinson; brother, Johnny G Durham.
Survived by husband of 70 years, Robert L Goodwin; children, Paula G Niemi (Charlie), Gary L Goodwin (Pam), Karen Nanette Barnes (Ronnie) & Terri M Grigsby; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. Known as Mama and Nana to her family, she was very much loved and will be greatly missed.
