Peggy M. Shelton, age 86, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
Preceded in death by husband of 65 years, Howard “Hank” Shelton.
Survived by daughter, Karen Shelton; sister-in-law, Kay Morrison; several nieces and nephews; and brother and sister-in-law, Willard & Barbara Shelton of Lakeland FL.
Peggy loved and enjoyed being a minister’s wife. She enjoyed traveling. Peggy and Karen had a very special bond and truly enjoyed shopping and doing things together. She loved the Lord, her family and all her friends. She is now very happy because she is back with Hank.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Ronnie Pittenger and Rev. Larry Guin on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jack Gillespie, Danny Cathey, Tony Shelton, Charlie Morton, Jerry Bowers and Bo Traughber.
