Peggy Hughes Douglas, Goodlettsville, TN, passed away on April 14, 2024.
Peggy was born in Cadiz, KY on February 9, 1943.
She was the youngest child of Richard S. and Avernell B. Hughes.
Peggy was a member of Nashville First Baptist Church, Nashville.
Peggy is preceded in death by her first husband, Kelsey Oliver; her parents Richard S. and Avernell B. Hughes, her sister Betty Kent; her daughter-in-law Fleta Wood Oliver, her brothers-in-law Pat Bryan and Roy Kent.
Peggy is survived by her husband David Douglas; her sister Jane Bryan; sons, Jeffrey Oliver and Michael Douglas; daughter-in-law Laurie Douglas; her grandchildren, Lauren, Weston, Allyson, Madelyn, Eli, and Asa; Her great grandsons, Gavin and Jasper.
A graveside service will be held for Peggy on April 26, 2024 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Thompson Lane, Nashville. Visitation with the family will be 2 hours prior to the service, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Dr. Joe Evans will be the speaker.
