Pearl was born in 1927 in Lynnville, TN to the late Loyd and Vera Foster Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Earl Dennis, sister, Joyce Petty, brothers, James Robinson, Lindsey Robinson and Harry Robinson, sisters-in-law Orean Robinson and Frances Robinson and brother-in-law, Bill Dennis, Sr.

She is survived by her daughter, Lydia (Mark) Cobb of Columbia, TN, brother Allen (Fay) Robinson of Lynnville, TN, sister-in-law, Nancy Dennis of Columbia, TN and many nieces and nephews whom she loved.

After graduating from Lynnville High School Pearl earned a bachelor’s degree in English in 1948 from Middle Tennessee State College, now known as MTSU.

She was active in many clubs and organizations including Secretary-Treasurer of the Orchestra and Miss T.S.C. 1948. While teaching at Whitthorne Junior High in Columbia, TN, Pearl met and married her husband, Earl Dennis.

After residing in Columbia, TN for several years, they moved to Nashville in 1960 where Pearl spent her time volunteering and serving in many capacities with her church, Crieve Hall Church of Christ, and at Lipscomb University.

Pearl’s lifelong faith was genuine. Countless deeds, the kind that actually makes the world a better place, were never advertised but were offered simply and with evident kindness.

Everyone she encountered was the beneficiary of her quiet thoughtfulness and gracious manner. A grateful servant’s heart shown through a beautiful life which so many were privileged to encounter. She was a remarkable and uncommon spirit.

Visitation will be held at the chapel of Crieve Hall Church of Christ on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 1 PM with a service to follow at 3 PM. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/nashville-tn
