Norma Ann Lewis, age 82, passed away May 9, 2026. Norma grew up in Jamaica, Queens and moved to Manhattan at the age of 17. She was a secretary for a British coin dealer, a Cafe Wha? waitress, and an avid chess player. She went on to work at Eastern Airlines as a flight attendant for 27 years and then owned a one hour photo business for 15 years. Norma was married to Gary Lewis for 47 years and he preceded her in passing away by only 5 months. They are happy to be reunited. Her life was extraordinary and not always easy but she was funny and sharp. She had the best stories and sayings. ‘Bologna skins!’ ‘Well I’ll be dipped!’ She will be missed but she is at peace.

Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Gary M. Lewis, who passed just 5 months earlier on 12/18/25.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Conway (Douglas) and son, Stephen Shiebler Jr.

No services are planned at this time.
