Lonnie Gray Hix, age 67 of the Goosehorn Community in Macon County, TN passed away Friday morning, May 8, 2026 in Monroe County, Ky. Lonnie is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.
Funeral Services for Lonnie Gray Hix will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, May 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Samuel Wilcutt officiating. Interment will follow in the Clark Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.

He is preceded in death by: parents, George & Ruthie Lee (Richardson) Hix; daughter, Samantha Kay Hix; sister, Diane Hix; brothers, Wayne Hix & Timothy “Redeye” Hix.
Survivors include: wife, Lavonda Hix of the Goosehorn Community; Alicia Hix & companion Chad Cherry of the Jimtown Community, Kina Pruitte & companion Marcus Rembert of Lebanon, Amanda Bain & husband Chris of Alexandria; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Vicky Ellis & husband Jeff of Gainesboro; brothers, Donnie Hix of Red Boiling Springs, Tony “Barney” Hix of the Goosehorn Community; brothers-in-law, Tony Hackett & wife Mary Joe of Carthage, Ricky Hackett of Hartsville.
