Murray Lockett Jr. passed away on June 10, 2025. Murray worked as an area supervisor for Shoney’s for 25 years. In his free time he enjoyed watching Titans Football, fishing and ballroom dancing with his wife. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Joann Lockett; children Darryl (Shauna) Lockett, Sherryl (Amy) Lockett and Dana (Kim) Lockett; grandchildren Jordan Lockett, Tara (Jon) Atkinson and Jada (Braden) Huckaby; great grandchildren Skylin, Jase and Noah; brother Johnny (Jerry) Carroll also his nieces and great nieces
Mr. Lockett is preceded in death by his parents Murray and Sadie Lockett and his sister Gloria Johnson.
