Margaret Meiers Wolf, 89, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on June 10, 2025. She was born March 5, 1936 in Nashville, the daughter of Stephen Raymond Fahey and Altha Mae Fahey.
Margaret was a lifelong member of St. Ann Catholic Church, and served as the St. Ann School Secretary for many years. She was an active volunteer for the church and school, where her five children were students, and for many years beyond.
She was a 1954 graduate of Cathedral High School, and in 1958 married Edward J. Meiers while he was a student at Oklahoma State University School of Architecture.
Their first child, Carol Meiers Fike, was born in Stillwater, OK and shortly after her birth the family returned to Nashville where they went on to add four siblings – Lisa Meiers Smith, Joe Meiers, Mark Meiers, and Amy Meiers. In 1967 the family moved into a home designed by Ed in the Hillwood neighborhood, a home still occupied by family members. After the death of her husband Ed in 1984, she went on to marry a lifelong friend, Charles Q. Wolf who predeceased her in 1997. Margaret was known for her love and dedication to her family, caregiving and her spirit of service to others, as well as Southern cooking and baking – especially an outstanding Coconut Cake.
